Rebeca and Rob are the owners and founders of the ecological farm community, Finca Ganadito. In the future the finca will offer accommodation, tours and yoga retreats, and right now hostel guests can volunteer to help us build the dream. Guests can enjoy a farm-to-table experience at the hostel too, as many of our ingredients are harvested fresh from the finca.
The Corcovado Foundation is a non-profit NGO working with local people to protect nature. Rob has worked with them since 2010, managing their sea turtle and volunteer programs, and in 2014 they founded Drake Bay Backpackers together as a social enterprise. The hostel offers volunteering options with the organization and donates profit to their environmental programs.
